Supplements & Vitamins My experience taking Armodafinil for the first time

I took it yesterday actually and just 150mg which i assume was a good start. I took it at around 7+ in the morning and it was on an empty stomach. I won't go over so in detail but first:


WHAT IS ARMODAFINIL?

• It is a wakefulness drug that people take to keep you alert and awake if you have any sleep disorders.
• It is also considered a nootropic often dose 150mg and 300mg max.
• MUST BE taken EARLY in the morning to prevent insomnia (which i did ended up having).

DIFFERENCE OF MODAFINIL AND ARMODAFINIL?

• It's literally the same shit only difference is that Armodafinil effects last longer and kicks in harder.
• Effects for Modafinil lasts about 10-12 hours.
• Effects for Armodafinil lasts about 12-15 hours (some reason it was way longer for me).

MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE?

To be honest I don't know maybe its because I took it on a day where I didn't need it (I was at home most of the time) but the feeling i get from it is weird.
Initially, it felt like i was on high dose of caffeine which I have ALWAYS hate because of how anxious I will get and Armodafinil amplifies THAT jfl.
Also i felt more aware of like everything like what my body does and especially my breathing
And I was pretty focus tho on doing stuff and by stuff I meant rotting on forums and doomscrolling.
Only problem I had was sleeping at night. I went to bed at 11 and could not sleep AT ALL.

TL;DR
It makes you LOCKED TF IN but only use it when you need it like for long hour shifts at work or something instead of reinforcing bad habits lol.

interesting, you said it heightened your anxiety? I have issues taking stims cause i always have panic attacks on them :/ Do you have any suggestions of things you've tried besides this?

Anxiety wise yes as I tend to get anxious usually whenever I take any form of caffeine and because Armodafinil gave kinda of the same similar effects so it amplified it for me. Though this varies from people to people not everyone will get this. As for other suggestions maybe beta blockers can help? I take Pregablin for anxiety during social events. I have Nebivolol too but thats for my heart rate and I bought baclofen to pair with my pregab but its still on the way. Im not saying this would help with your condition though coz remember to ALWAYS DYOR!

Since you took it on an empty stomach, do you think if I eat first it won't spike as hard but I'll still get the effects? I definitely want the focus, but I'm trying to avoid that crazy anxiety and manual breathing you mentioned

Sure usually on an empty stomach makes substances work faster so itll probably be the same for this case. And manual breathing is crazy but I guess u can say that

the sleep on it is very bad, but I'm not a big fan of armodafinil, i tried modafinil and armodafinil and the normal moda is waay better even though they're supposed to be kinda the same

i was locked in more, the sleep was kind of better and i did not really feel anxious and had no issues with like sitting still on armodafinil my adhd got enhanced but i was still locked in

maybe try selank and semax, both are very mild and selank helps you with anxiety / depression / panic attacks too, i didn't really feel any big difference with semax but it's probably just a issue for me, but selank is a game changer

do u take them intranasally together or separately or inject? I used to try injecting selank and semax and it didnt do much so i switched to intranasal (mixed and added oxytocin too so its 3 compounds in 1) and i kinda felt it but wasnt THAT crazy unless my shit was bunked from the start

ye i got a lot of armoda back then too and just threw it away and got normal modafinil wasted money fr

i take them as a nose spray separated, the feeling is very subtle but that's what i liked so much, i tried different medications for anxiety and i was always high as fuck or got blackouts from the day i took them, which was not very managable for me and with selank it made me more low inhib without me feeling any high, semax didn't really do much as I said unfortunately my ADHD is prolly just too bad because Ritalin doesn't help me too rn need to hop on modafinil soon
